The Plight of Our Age

A new age has begun.
An age of boundless boundary;
of sublimed process, success and complacency;
of boundless obsession;
of ruthless ignorance;
of timeless means naught;
of thing comes and goes, of rapid transition,
...in the remembrance of no one, in the mercy of no one!

Autumn maple leaf may fall,
but we couldn't 'see' its fall,
we could merely 'look' at its routined drop...
Its beauty remained timeless, but timelessness seem so far,
our eyes have since barricaded...
by our ruthless ignorance!

What left, is our endless serving to the conditionings,
set by the order of capitalists, reformists, theorists...
Merits in line with how well we goes with those conditionings,
which are mere futile loops of traps,
punishing yet confirming our state of coziness,
within our sublimed complacency.

What left, is the souless skeletons of mass produced 'factory product'...
wandering on the streets of all conditionings.
The murderer of our pride as an unique individual, our wisdom, and our beautiful eyes left intact...
We are serving endlessly, boundlessly, to the flight of their conditionings
...while this is the Plight of Our Age!

"What is education without enlightenment? It's a mere conditioning. And what is mere conditioning but maintaining mass ignorance, the poisonous and poisoning end of what we call civilization? There is nothing more dreadful, more dangerous, nothing to be more feared in this world, than plain or fancy ignorance, We can see this today in the drift toward conformity." - F.L.Wright
